Hello,

i and my Guild have 1 or 2 Problems with using GEM.

1. Problem is that sometimes if you want to look the details of an GEM is blank und you can´t see anything there. I have read here that here helps to Type /gem reset to "reload" Gem. i have tryed this but the window that opens said something that Events that i created are eventually get lost. I´m one of 3 Raidleader of my Guild and its not good when i have to reset Gem that my Event is lost. Did i understand the Windows Wrong? or is there a solution for?

2. Problem is that sometimes i can´t change a subscribtion from an event. For Example i subscribe to an Event, but then i must change this to Substitute (because I´m not sure if i´m at home when the Raid starts) when i klick the updatebutton nothing happens and i´m still at SUBSCRIBE status.
Any Idea for a solution of this?

Ok 3 Problems^^ Today one of my Guildies can´t subscribe to an Event that i created. Only the NOT Subscribe (i hope thats the correct translation of that State i mean Gem says YOU ARE NOT IN THE RAIDGROUP) works for him. Each time if he try to Subscribe he and I get an GEM Warning that sounds like

"Gem3: Event on Update lost for Blacktony (thats me)95,227"

If that happens he is kicked of from my event.

Any idea´s what happened or a solution for this?

So that´s all Very Happy

P.S. GEM IS A GREEEEEEEEAT ADDON REALLY REALLY EXCELLENT WORK

Edit:

Problem 3 the Warning is OnUpdateEventLost for ID Blacktony95,227

Hi,
sorry for the delay in the answer Razz

1) This is a known (but very hard to catch) bug. I just strongly not recommand to do a /gem reset when you get this one. Instead, either close/reopen GEM window, or simply type a "/reload", it should solve the issue.

2) Do you have this issue as a GEM event leader, or not? If not, you must wait for the leader to come online (and wait a few seconds) for it to update your status.

3) This looks to be an issue related to the problem 1), where you resetted your gem completly. Try not to reset GEM as a leader Smile

Ähm i haven´t reset GEM anytime. Ok one Example: I make an Event for Naxxramas. The Char Soledum wants to subscribe I´m online when she does that. But 10 seconds later we both became this warning Onupdateeventlost: Eventid:Blacktony xx,xxx she can try to subscribe 100 times but we both ALLWAYS get this warning.
she can subscribe to that when she Resets Gem complete. After that all Things shine to work fine until yet

The OnUpdateEventLost message can only be triggered if you have, at some point, lost a GEM event (either crashed the game after creating the event, or by dogin a /gem reset).

Does this error occur everytime you create a new event, and the other char is trying to subscribe?

ähm in my Example Sole is online i´m online no one of us did an Gem Reset, she trys to subscribe and a few seconds later she is "kicked" from my event (of course i dont kick her) and she can subscribe again, but when she does that she is kicked again, and so on and so on.

And this Problem extists since last 2 Weeks. But this week she became this error again, and AFTER that she make a Gem reset, and since that it shine to work fine.
